On the 15th and 16th of January 2025, MODINA hosted its second cycle networking event at ITI/IST-ID (Lisbon). We gathered together with the five artist duos made up of choreographers and creative technologists selected from our second call for residencies (from 91 duos applying). Seventeen representatives from partnering institutions also took part, who will be involved with the MODINA residencies throughout 2025. 2 representatives from ITI, Kino Siska, STL, Tanzhaus NRW, CNDB; 3 from HSD and Tallinn University; and 1 from Trafó participated in the event.
After a presentation session aimed to introduce the MODINA project, its partners and the five artistic projects, all participants contributed with post-it-based comments to a discussion about the different artistic projects. After a moment of reflection and discussion between the artistic duos, the artists met their residency hosts and mentors to discuss details of the residencies and workshops for the 2nd cycle. MODINA is co-funded by the European Union.
